Abstract
Unfortunately, the nature-culture dichotomy is still present in the agendas of envi-ronmental managers and even in many research projects. We understand that in a changing and threatened world, multivocality is indispensable. In this sense, ethno-biology, by addressing multidimensionally (time, space, culture) the relationships between human communities and their environment, makes the voice of local actors heard.
