Los ejemplares tipo de dytiscoidea, halyploidea, gyrinoidea e hydrophiloidea depositados en la Colección del Museo de La Plata

Abstract

The types of species of Dytiscoidea, Haliploidea, Gyrinoidea and Hydrophi­loidea (Coleoptera) housed in the collection oft he Departamento Entomología del Museo de La Plata were examined and listed. These types belong to 53 species distributed in the following superfamilies: Haliploidea (1 taxon, 3 types), Gyrinoidea (1, 2), Dytiscoidea (7, 23) and Hydrophiloidea (46, 155). They were contributed by the following authors: Bachmann, Berg, Bruch, Fernández, Grosso, Knisch, Oliva, Orchymont, Spangler, Trémouilles, Vida[ Sarmiento, Wooldridge and Young. For each taxon complete information about original publication, collection data and condition is given.
