Los ejemplares tipo de carabidae y haliplidae (Adephaga, coleoptera) depositados en el Museo de La Plata

Abstract

The 84 types of Carabidae and 3 of Haliplidae (Coleoptera Adephaga) housed in the collection of the "Division Entomologia del Museo de La Plata" were examined and listed. The types of Carabidae belong to 31 species, distributed in the subfamilles Carabinae (1), Scaritinae (1), Broscinae (3), Psydrinae (1) and Harpalinae (25), were described by the following authors: Carlos Berg, Fritz van Emden, Walther Horn, Max Liebke, Juan Mateu, Gerald Noonan, Hans Reichardt, Sergio Roig Juñent & Armando Cicchino and Juan Tremoleras. The 3 types of Haliplidae belong to a single species and were described by Julia Vidal Sarmiento & Luis Grosso. For each taxon complete information about original publication, collection data, and condition is given. On the other hand, two types of Carabidae were placed in a separate list because of their doubfu status.
