Los ejemplares tipo de curculionidae sensu lato (Coleoptera: curculionidae) depositados en la Coleción del Museo de La Plata

Abstract

The 663 types of Curculionidae sensu lato (Coleoptera: Curculionoidea) housed in the collection of the División Entomología del Museo de La Plata were exampled and listed. These types belong to 137 species and subspecies, distributed in the subfamilias Polydrosinae (28), Entiminae (20), Aterpinae ( 4), Rhytirrhininae (3), Petalochilinae (1), Molytinae (12), Erirhininae (11), Otidocephalinae (1), Anthonominae (7), Tachygoninae (3), Prionomerinae (1), Tychiinae (2); Cryptorhynchinae (6), Ceutorhynchinae (2), Baridinae (35), and Cossoninae (1). They were contributed by the following authors: Berg (4), Bondar (10), Buchanan (3), Clark (2), Heller (1), Hustache (72), Hustache & Bondar (1), Hustache & Bruch (1), Kuschel (31), Lanteri (3), O'Brien (3), and Viana (6). For each taxon complete information about original and valid names, publication, subsequent combinations, collection data, and condition is given.
